HANDMADE APOTHECARY HERBAL WORKSHOPS//2018
Due to demand, this is the second, and final, release date for this workshop.
Location: Omved Gardens, Townsend Yard Highgate, London N6 5J
Duration: 11am - 3.30pm =4.5 hours (4 hours + 30min lunch).
Join herbalists and best-selling authors Kim & Vicky on a full day of herbal learning. Starting with a herb walk, you will learn to identify and reconnect with the stories of the seasonal, wild plants that grow all around. We will be harvesting the season’s bounty along the way so bring any special scissors/clippers and small baskets with you (though we will also provide some).
We will then break for a vegan/gluten free lunch (provided) followed by a workshop turning our foraged bounty in bespoke herbal remedies.
Each workshop will focus on 5 seasonal herbs, discussing and making a range of herbal remedies to take home and add to your own herbal medicine chest. Topics covered will include the identification of plants, chemistry, dosage, safety and a range of basic herbal recipes. You will make and take home your own recipe book and herbal apothecary kit, including the following:
Sunday October 14th:
- Syrups
- Pastilles
- Tinctures
£65 per workshop, All equipment and ingredients are included.
£150 if you block book all three workshops (This option only available before 19 May. Other dates are Saturday 28 July & Saturday 13 October)
