Beautiful lavender flowers can be made into scented sachets for scenting rooms and clothes. There are many ways to do that, but this traditional method is a fun, crafty way to make something really pretty using just fresh lavender stalks and some ribbon. The best ribbon is shiny/satiny so you can easily weave it around the rough stalks.
